They watch you in your sleep,
calling out your name,
cloaked in darkness and despair,
their life, an ageless affair,
they wait in anger,
destiny on pause,
hunting you, sharpening their claws,
their teeth, sharp and pointed,
their eyes glaring,
their mouth silent,
your mind creates your nightmares,
they are your worst,you read of their kindness,
of their love and despair,
while they hunt you,laughing, you never know they are there,
watching through your window,
as your obsession grows,
all surrounded by lies,
of love and mystery,
one should not always believe what they are told.
